About Me
My name is Naomi Collis, I have a BSc in Bioveterinary sciences from The Royal Veterinary College, a MSc in Equine Science from The Royal Agricultural College and in 2017 I qualified with a MSc in Animal Manipulation from the McTimoney College of Chiropractic.

I have always had an affinity with animals and always knew that any career I undertook would involve them. I've owned horses since I was 16 and worked at yards of various disciplines including riding schools, polo, breeding and eventing. I thoroughly enjoyed learning and training my own horse in horseback archery before he retired from ridden work. I've taken a personal interest in hoof care and an advocate for barefoot where's practical as well as classical dressage training (straightness training) where there is a focus on correct groundwork without using gadgets as shortcuts. I completed the 24 ridden pain behaviours online course provided by Equitopia Centre which was a real eye opener in terms of what we as horse owners are missing or ignoring from our horses communication. I have 2 small dogs that are Romanian rescues who come with me everywhere! A passion for wanting the best for my own dogs has led me to advocate for a healthy, natural diet and chemical free environment for all dogs.

I like to work as part of a team with your vets, trainers, farriers, dentists, saddlers etc. in order to provide the best support and care possible.

I complete CPD every year to stay up to date on the latest knowledge and techniques. I am registered with the McTimoney Animal Association and AHPR. I am insured to work by Holistic Insurance Services.
